UWP Lecturers Talk on Mine Okubo - Mellon group in Asian/American

Hello:
On Monday, Greg Robinson (University of Quebec at Montreal) and Elena  
Tajima Creef (Wellesley College) will be here to talk about their book  
on Japanese American writer, artist and activist Mine Okubo, who grew  
up in Riverside and is the author of Citizen 13660, a key text in  
Asian American literary studies.  This is the first collection of  
essays on Okubo.  Robinson and Creef will show slides of Okubo's art  
and present talks about her life and work.  Please join us!
