[Englecturers] Urgent Request: East L A College needs Reading Instructors

Greetings All:

East L A College has a keen interest in hiring reading instructors. There 
are two
courses available to teach at ELAC, which is a part of the Los Angeles 
Community College
District.  In order to teach reading, as you may already know, you need to 
have taken 12 units of graduate work in reading.

If you or anyone you know fills this requirement and has experience in 
teaching reading, please contact the Chair of the English Department, Prof. 
James Kenny at 323 265 8860 or email him at kennyj at elac.edu . The two 
courses met 3:30-6 pm, and the one held on the main campus in Monterey Park 
(LA) meets on MW, while the course held on their South Gate campus meets on 
TTh.  Classes start there on Feb 4, so please get in touch soon.

If you yourself aren't interested but know of someone else who teaches
