The Franklin & Marshall English Department invites 
applications for a one year 
visiting Assistant Professorship , beginning in the fall of 
2007.  We are 
looking for a specialist whose primary field is African 
American literature.  
Evidence of scholarly activity, a commitment to 
undergraduate teaching, and a 
PhD or ABD required.  The 2/3 teaching load will include 
African American 
literature courses, which will be cross-listed with Franklin 
& Marshall's 


Africana Studies and American Studies majors, and other 
literature offerings-no
