Subject: RE: William Carlos Williams Review

Dear Professor Axelrod,
Since the William Carlos Williams Review's return to publication two years
ago we have been getting much praise and encouragement from the Williams
community. We are, though, in desperate need (I don't use the phrase
lightly) of getting word of our return out so can we begin building a steady
stream of submissions to meet our publication needs. As such, we are turning
to some grassroots public awareness tactics. I'm writing to ask if you will
take a few moments to send out the below email message to everyone in your
mailbox, regardless of their fields of study, including graduate students
working in modernism and poetry, as well as posting the message on your
departmental listserve and any other academic listserves you belong to. If
you can help, please cut and paste the message into a new email so my
personal message to you doesn't go out as well. I can't tell you how much
taking a few moments to help out will mean to the continued success of the
WCWR.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Todd Giles

MESSAGE

The William Carlos Williams Review is actively seeking submissions. We
invite essays of varying length (12-36 pages) on any aspect of the life and
work of William Carlos Williams, and on his relationship to the artistic,
philosophical, social, and political movements of his day. New theoretical
approaches to Williams's work are particularly encouraged.

Authors may submit manuscripts as Word files or in hard copy to:
