Guillermo Gómez-Peña will be delivering a 
performative lecture, "The MEXORCIST" on Monday 
November 13 (7pm) in the University Theater.

This event is free and open to the public.

Guillermo Gómez-Peña is a writer and performance 
artist, whose work concern the interface between 
Mexican and U.S. culture. His works center on 
physical and non-physical borders between the U.S 
and Mexico, cross-cultural identity, and the 
confrontation between cultures. In addition to 
performance art he is also involved in radio, 
video, and installation art as well as bilingual 
poetry. Honors and awards include participation 
in the 1990 Venice Biennal, the Prix de la Parole 
at the International Theatre Festival of the 
Americas, the New York Bessie Award, and a 
MacArthur Foundation Fellowship.
