Susan,

The attached job announcement, literally read, would mean that all people currently on one-year contracts would have to submit an official transcript (as opposed to a photcopy) with their application.  I doubt that that's what the writing course committee means to require from people who already work here.  Could you please verify, and clarify this to current lecturers?

  For those of you, who are currently appointed on 1 quarter contracts, please submit your applications according to the attached job announcement. You may use the letters of recommendation and credential verification from your current appointment file for 2005-2006. The department strongly encourages those who are applying to have a classroom visitation done this quarter to submit with your application.



  The deadline to submit your application is Wednesday, May 24th.
