Subject: FW: What did you think???

Now that the film festival is over PLEASE answer these 2 questions.

1.	What suggestions do have that would improve the film
festival.programming, marketing, scheduling.all thoughts are welcome and I
will pass them on to the film festival committee. Also, please share what
you feel is being done well.

2.	Would you like to be on a specific e-mail list (these would not be
e-mails from me all full of personal commentary :->) but probably originate
from the arts council) that lets you know when/where art, foreign and
independent films are playing in a 30 mile radius at theaters and on the
college campuses??

What a great week.I sat through 24 shorts, documentaries and independent
feature films over the past 10 days. I met a Nuclear Researcher and
Disarmament Educator from New York premiering "The Last Atomic Bomb" and a
couple from Riverside who premiered their Michael Moore type documentary
"Freedom Fries" that they made for $2000 and filmed locally. I got a big
dose of BOLLYWOOD.that I happen to love.it makes me happy and saw some great
comedy and some equally powerful drama. The student shorts shouldn't be
missed next year.they were fabulous and the Press was wrong about the
attendance.they came early (4:00) and counted 20 people.the theatre filled
soon after with only up close seating left.

The Riverside Film Festival is only in its 4th year and is run by all
volunteers with a very small budget. I think with your input, future
attendance and support the festival will thrive. Thanks for your great
response.we're hoping that we showed enough attendance to convince the
Metropolitan Theater to turn a couple of screens over to art films. I'll let
you know if we think a petition would help. PLEASE ANSWER THE 2 QUESTIONS
ABOVE.thanks.sue
