Ghost Nurseries by Judy Kronenfeld

Ghost Nurseries is about memory that threatens to desert us, and especially
about those we love who are afflicted with its irrecoverable loss; it is
also about what we salvage from the dark.

Judy Kronenfeld's poetry, fiction and nonfiction have appeared in many
journals, including Poetry International, The Women's Review of Books, The
Chariton Review, The MacGuffin, The Louisville Review, The Evansville
Review, Passages North, Pebble Lake Review,  The North American Review, The
Crescent Review, Potpourri, and Under the Sun, as well as in several
anthologies, including So Luminous the Wildflowers: An Anthology of
California Poets (Tebot Bach, 2003), and Red, White & Blues: Poets on the
Promise of America (Iowa, 2004). Her poetry has also appeared online in such
magazines as Poetry Midwest, Full Circle, The Third Muse, and 2River Review.
She has published a book of poetry (Shadow of Wings, Bellflower Press, 1991)
and a limited edition chapbook (Disappeared down Dark Wells and Still
Falling, Inevitable Press, 2000). She has also published criticism and
reviews on Renaissance subjects in many scholarly journals, and a book on
Shakespeare, King Lear and the Naked Truth (Duke, 1998). 

Judy Kronenfeld is a Lecturer in the Creative Writing Department at the
University of California, Riverside.
