The 7th annual Modernist Studies Association conference will take place
November 3-6 in Chicago. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Please see the
conference website at http://www.luc.edu/msachicago for complete
information, including our still-open call for panel proposals
(deadline: May 9).
The conference registration fee includes admission to all conference
sessions and special events, two receptions, refreshment breaks, and
conference materials. Special events include the poetry reading by
Donald Hall scheduled for Thursday, November 3, and the jazz concert
with Jackie Allen on Saturday, November 5.
ALL CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE MSA, with
membership dues paid in full. Please note that MSA membership is not
included in the conference registration fee.
ALL CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE.
There are no reduced fees for presenters or participants wishing to
attend only part of the conference.
REGISTER EARLY TO JOIN YOUR PREFERRED SEMINAR! The list of seminar
topics, with detailed descriptions, is available on the conference
website.
HOW TO REGISTER
1. You must be a current member of the MSA to attend this year's
conference in Chicago. MSA membership is not included in the conference
registration fee. Please go to the organization's website
(http://msa.press.jhu.edu) to start or renew your membership.
Unless specified otherwise, MSA dues paid now will apply to the cycle
beginning October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006. The 2005-06 payment
will include eligibility for the conference in Chicago, and a
subscription to Modernism/Modernity starting in January 2006.
2. Print and complete the Registration Form (available from the
Registration page on the conference website,
http://www.luc.edu/msachicago) and mail with your check made payable to
LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO to the address provided below. Forms can also
be faxed and checks mailed separately. Registrations will not be
processed until payment is received.
3. To participate in a peer seminar, please indicate your top three
choices on the Registration Form. Seminar registration operates on a
first-come, first-served basis. We will attempt to place you in your
seminar of first choice unless it is already filled. All seminars are
capped at 15 participants. Register early for the best chance of
joining the seminar you prefer.
