Dear Fellow UCR Staff Members,

On behalf of the Staff Assembly Board, and the Scholarship Committee, 
we are pleased to announce the 2009-2010 Staff Assembly Personal 
Growth and Enrichment Scholarships. There is limited funding 
available. See below for descriptions of both types of scholarships, 
then apply online (preferred). If there are colleagues in your 
department with limited computer access, please visit the application 
online and print up the Word/PDF version and have those colleagues 
mail the form to the address below.

Staff Assembly Enrichment Scholarships
2010 Personal Growth and Development Award Application

The Staff Assembly scholarships support activities that enrich the 
personal and professional lives of UCR staff. A portion of the 
scholarship fund is set aside for personal growth and development 
(exercise classes, self-improvement programs, CPR training, etc.).

All career staff employees who have completed the probation period 
are eligible to apply.

You will be required to submit receipts, if you are selected as a recipient.

Activity must occur or be completed within the 12-month period of 
July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. If available, attach all related 
information and documentation (announcement, catalogue, registration 
forms, etc.,) for fees requested for this activity. Include copies of 
receipts (enrollment, certificate, parking, transportation, lodging, 
etc.) for any existing related expenses. If you have not yet 
registered or taken the course you are requesting the funds for 
please send a copy of the documentation when it has been received.

Submission of an application does not guarantee an award. Incomplete 
applications will not be considered.

    * Degree attainment expenses.
    * Career development (certificate program, conference, workshops, 
courses, etc.)
All career staff employees who have completed the probation period 
are eligible to apply.

July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. If available, attach all related
