Hello UCR Researchers,

Our March 12 Months of Research Safety topic is on power strip safety.
Electrical safety is a critical part of laboratory safety, and power strips
are a common area of fire code violation.  We reviewed this guidance with
Fire & Life Safety and Facilities, and the information in the flier is
applicable outside of laboratories too, in offices, shared areas, and even
at home.

All our previous 12 Months of Research Safety flyers are available on our
website at https://ehs.ucr.edu/laboratory/12monthsofresearchsafety.
 Subscription to this listserv is based on membership in an active LHAT and
is updated monthly.
