Dear UCR Research Community,



Our next “12 Months of Research Safety” topic for April 2021 is on Laboratory Hazard Assessment Tool (LHAT). Please see the attached to learn more about why conducting and maintaining a laboratory hazard assessment is important and to understand your responsibilities to review and certify/acknowledge your lab’s laboratory hazard assessment.



As part of this update, LHAT certifications will now be required every other year instead of every year.
