SPEAKS is a new NSF Graduate Student Research Traineeship program which trains STEM-focused UCR doctoral students to integrate engineering, social science, environmental science and public policy to conduct research focused on decarbonization of the transportation

 sector and promote environmental justice and equality.<u class="ContentPasted0"></u><u class="ContentPasted0"></u></p>

 Ph.D. students interested in sustainable transportation and public policy providing a valuable multi-disciplinary education, training, and professional development program. SPEAKS offers one-year funded fellowships for US citizens, US nationals, and permanent
