Hello!

Applications for UCR's Statistics department annual Statical Mentorship
Application, Research, and Technology (SMART) program are now open! The
deadline to apply is *March 8, 2024 @ 11:59 PM PST *(the end of week 9).

The SMART Program is a 10-week mentorship program where you have the
opportunity to create your own mini research project under the guidance of
one of the Statistics department's graduate students. This year, we will
include topics such as *Diversity within the Statistics Major, **Sports
Analytics*, *Statistical Data Mining*,* and more*! Attached are the slides
from the info session containing more information.
