 Here's a quick heads-up about two upcoming opportunities that may be of
interest to you, your students, and the faculty.

 • On Thursday, April 8, 2021, 2:00 pm EDT—Dr. Carla Cotwright-Williams,
Technical Director within the Department of Defense (DoD), will be
interviewed as part of the Talking BIG Jobs Live Interview Series. Students
interested in learning about career possibilities in business and industry
will have an opportunity to connect with others and ask questions about

 • Virtual conference funding opportunity:  Attend the Mathematical
Congress of the Americas (MCA 2021) July 19-24, 2021—no traveling needed.
Funding will cover the MCA registration fee ($50) plus a stipend of up to
$250. Don't wait; learn more and apply for this funding now through April
30, 2021 at https://www.ams.org/programs/travel-grants/mca. This is a great
opportunity for people to network internationally with a larger
mathematical community without leaving home.
