Dear DS students,
please find below information about the final project presentations of the
NSF Data Science REU Program and the NSF-DS-PATH program (one is Thursday
and the other on Friday; note: different rooms). These are two of the
various summer opportunities that you can apply for, so attending the
final projects may give you a better idea of what these summer programs
are about.

Event: NSF Data Science REU Program: Final Project Presentation
Presenters: REU students
Time: 8am-12pm

Location: MRB Seminar Room (right corner in the first floor)
Note: There will be 10-11 presentations focusing on DS statistical data
modeling, data management and visualization, genomic data mining, natural
language processing, and social media data mining.

Event: DS-PATH Program Final Project Presentation
Student teams will present their Data Science projects at a poster session
on* Friday, August 18th, 10am-Noon, in WCH 205/206*.The agenda includes an
opening welcome, coffee & pastries, and team poster presentations. We'd
love for you to join us!
