[ds-undergrads] SMART Program Spring 2022

Hey everyone!

We will be having a meeting discussing the SMART Program (Statistical
Mentoring in Application Research and Technology) next Thursday 2/10/22 at
6pm. The SMART program is where a graduate student mentors an undergraduate
student on a statistical project for the spring quarter. At the end of the
quarter, the student will present their project to the UCR Statistics
Department. Previous project topics include time series analysis, cluster
analysis, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis. This is a
great opportunity for undergrads to gain coding and analytical experience.
