Congrats to incoming MFA candidate Angela Peñaredondo, who was selected as one of the Newer Poets for the Aloud Series presented by the L.A. Library Foundation! Angela will participate in a reading July 24 at the Mark Taper Auditorium: http://www.lfla.org/event-detail/749/Newer-Poets-XVII-A-Reading

And if that weren’t enough, Angela was awarded funding and will be attending the Mendocino Writers Conference and Idyllwild Arts this July.
