Hey folks,

I'm tabling for Dancing Girl Press this Saturday at the LA Times Festival
of Books, as part of the Smokin' Hot Indie Lit Lounge.

There will be a DIY anthology station (with selections from various small
presses), readings, exquisite corpses, and more!

Hope to see you there!

All best,
Rachelle

Kaya Press is proud to introduce the first ever
 *SMOKIN' HOT INDIE LIT LOUNGE*
*at the **2012 LA Times Festival of
Books*<http://kaya.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1d19f7b96ceebd1b8b7a5b063&id=ed6ab147f7&e=47a6d0dcec>

Find us at Booth #391 - *April 21 - 22, 2012*

To celebrate Kaya Press’s move to USC, we would like to highlight
independent literary publishing and culture in all its splendor and
glory. *Come
to our booth to experience indie lit culture at its creative best, and walk
away with your own, unique, indie lit anthology -- edited, bound, and
"published" by you!*

Our idea: to turn the tables on tabling, and turn the booth into a lounge,
an oasis of respite from the heat and the chaos of the day. We envision a
transformed space in the middle of the book festival that will feature
experiments in publishing, readings, poetic epiphanies, and spontaneous
displays of interactive genius. And most especially, the opportunity to
hang out with authors, editors, publishers, and designers in a casual
setting.

Throughout the two days of the festival, visitors to the booth will be
encouraged to MAKE (edit, collate, bind, and help design the covers for)
their own anthology of writings published by independent presses. The idea
is to make visible the effort behind those little printed bricks of paper
that you will also be taking home with you! *BOOKS ARE MADE BY PEOPLE.
People like you!*

Come join us and become a part of the vibrant, independent, multifaceted
literary culture that makes Los Angeles uniquely positioned to showcase new
directons in publishing for the 21st century.
