He's been named a finalist in the Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize: the 5th edition 
of Letras Latinas: "Launched in 2004, the Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize supports 
the publication of a first book by a Latino or Latina poet in collaboration with 
University of Notre Dame Press."
