OPEN CALL FOR UCR DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE: READERS
THEA 120B and THEA 126A
WINTER QUARTER 2011


The Department of Theatre is currently accepting applications for (2) Readers for Winter 2011. Successful applicants will be UCR MFA Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts students. Applications are due Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Noon.
 
THEA 120B, 001: Literature of Theatre: Elizabethan – 1900
Responsibilities: Grade Student Essays. Work not to exceed 65 hours in the quarter. $12.72/hour. Must have good English composition skills, plus familiarity with standard Western dramatic literature. Work will occur during mid-terms and at finals.

THEA 126A, 001: History of Dress
Responsibilities: Retrieve assignments which are submitted digitally to iLearn, review and record credit points.  The assignments will be 4 drawings, two synopsis sheets and 4 pieces of period research per student per week.  Work not to exceed 36 hours in the quarter. $12.72/hour. Not all students will submit their work on time, so the work load will vary – butwork is required each week.
