   Good Afternoon Highlanders!

On behalf of the UCR Alumni Association I am pleased to inform you that
based on your current academic record, you may be qualified to apply for the
Ronald E. Neumann ('66, '67 M.A.) Graduate Student Scholarship. Through the
generosity of our alumni, the Association is awarding two $2500 scholarships
to qualified students.

The scholarship qualifications are as follows:

   - U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.
   - Graduate Student status by Fall 2011 enrolled in a minimum of 12 units
   per quarter.
   - Married student status.
   - Continuing UCR student.
   - Demonstrate financial need.

Please note that all applicants will go through a screening process. All
applications will be reviewed by the Alumni Association Scholarship
Committee, and based on the application and essay, the scholarship will be
awarded.
