Praise for "Rolling the Bones":
Buckley surprises his readers with language. The fluidity of words and
syntax combines with his flare for sound and image to create astoundingly
beautiful moments. Buckley has the ability to extend a poem from an image or
other occasion of language into a lengthy and absorbing meditation on
existence, or on the conditions of the human soul and of the god who may or
may not be present somewhere.
‹Phebe Davidson, Review/Revue
Christopher Buckley received his BA from St. Mary's College of California,
obtained an MA at San Diego State University and further advanced his
education by completing his MFA at the University of California, Irvine. He
is a Guggenheim Fellow in poetry for 2007-2008.
