Subject: ANNOUNCING: THE UNIVERSITY TEACHING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The University of California Riverside’s Graduate Division is excited to announce a new instructional training and certification program for graduate students.  This program is designed to assist university-level instructors in developing teaching and lecturing strategies, designing a teaching philosophy, and becoming members of the professional teaching
community. 

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive:

A University Teaching Certificate that is signed by the Graduate Division Dean

An invitation to the Graduate Division award ceremony in June 2011 for a banquet dinner and certification conferral

A confidential letter of reference from the TADP Coordinator

To apply, submit an application form, non-confidential letter of reference, three quarters of teaching evaluations, and a letter of interest. Application packets are due no later than 5:00 p.m. December 1st at the University Office Building, Room 122 (located behind Rivera Library, on Eucalyptus Drive). Seminars will take place on Thursdays from 10 - noon in winter quarter. For information on required application materials and program scheduling, visit: http://tadp.ucr.edu
