[CW-Grad] Philosopher Catherine Malabou lecture and symposium on Tue, Nov 9th at MOCA in Los Angeles: “Plasticity: Looking for New Political Modes of Being”

On Tuesday, November 9th, the MA in Aesthetics and Politics program at CalArts is hosting French philosopher Catherine Malabou (Université Paris-X Nanterre and SUNY Buffalo) at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Professor Malabou will be giving a talk entitled “Plasticity: Looking for New Political Modes of Being.”
 
On the same day and at the same location, there will be an afternoon symposium on biology, technology, and the arts featuring Martie Haselton (Communication Studies and Psychology, UCLA), Philip Ross (CRITTER salon), Michael Pisaro (School of Music, CalArts), Robert Mitchell (English, Duke), and Anne Marie Oliver (Intermedia and Contemporary Theory, PNCA).
 
Both events are free and open to the public.
