Wow. 

2nd years--one of the best readings, and audiences, ever!  I can now confess, when I saw how many people were going to read, I was a tad concerned. But evening went by in a flash, a perfect mix of humor, heart and just flat out great writing.

Last night, Michael beautifully expressed what we as faculty all feel about this event, about the mixture of pride and sadness we feel. We're going to miss you. 

However, as with so many of our alumni, some of whom came to show their support last night, we hope and expect you will stay in touch and connected. As Rick said to Captain Renault, "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

Thank you again to Deja and her 1st year cohorts for putting this together.
