Subject: New series added to the Palm Springs International Film Fest: Worth  Looking into!


Hi everyone,
 
There is a new series they added to the film festival this year called Talking Pictures. The Contender series will have Rob Marshall speaking about Nine on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Regal Cinemas in Palm Springs, Lee Daniels talking about Precious at Regal as well at 1 p.m. that same day and then on, Saturday, January 16 at 1 p.m. Lone Scherfig will be talking about An Education. They will be screening the film under consideration first and then there will be an in-depth, onstage interview with each director afterwards led by a major film critic or film journalist. The tickets are $10 each, but worth it if you are even thinking about screenwriting as a career!
