Hello all,

Please join us this Saturday night as we kick off the spring quarter with an evening with Aimee Bender at 6pm at the Palm Desert Graduate Center. One of the most influential writers of short fiction working today, Aimee is the author The Girl in the Flammable Skirt, An Invisible Sign of My Own and Willful Creatures. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous magazines and journals, including Granta, McSweeney's, The Paris Review and GQ, twice earning a Pushcart Prize. She has an MFA from UCI and currently teaches creative writing at USC.

Aimee will be reading, talking and then sitting down for a converation and audience Q&A. Books will be sold as well for those interested.

If you have questions or need directions, just me know --

Tod
