[CW-Grad] Reminder: Dan Chaon this Thursday night in Palm Desert

Hi all,

Just a quick reminder: Dan Chaon, the author of Await Your 
Reply -- which was just named a NY Times Notable Book of The 
Year and named one of the 10 best books of the year by 
Publishers Weekly -- will be reading & discussing his work 
this Thursday night at 7pm at the Palm Desert campus. Dan's 
previous work includes the story collection Among the Missing, 
which was a finalist for the National Book Award (the same 
year Susan was...they were both robbed!), and the novel You 
Remind Me of Me, which was also an NY Times Notable Book of 
the Year. 

The event is free, as is parking, and books will be sold by 
Barnes & Noble. Hope to see you there!
