[Cwgrad-announcements] Two feature films and a short film coming from Prof. Chuck Evered

"Running Funny," a film co-written by UCR Assistant Professor Charles Evered was recently picked up for distribution by LifeSize Entertainment. Its US theatrical release begins next week, at the Facets Cinematheque in Chicago starting November 21. DVD release is set for January 2009. 

In addition, Chuck's feature directing debut, "Adopt a Sailor," has been chosen to be included among ten international titles screening at the International Women's Film and Television Showcase at The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California at 4pm on December 7th. UCR Associate Professor Robin Russin will serve as moderator for the Q&A following that screening. 

"Adopt a Sailor," which stars Emmy winners Bebe Neuwirth and Peter Coyote, has also been chosen as an "Official Selection" at the 20th Anniversary Palm Springs International Film Festival that runs January 9-19, 2009. 

Chuck just finished shooting a short film called Visiting, starring Amy Locane and James Waterston, set to premiere in mid 2009.
