Open Call Auditions For Performance Riverside’s production of

THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE

Monday, April 28 at 6:30pm
Landis Performing Arts Center
Riverside City College Campus
4800 Magnolia Avenue Riverside, CA  92506

Direction and Choreography by John Vaughan
Assistant Choreography by Janet Renslow
Musical direction by Scott T. Smith

Please prepare 16 bars of a number and bring sheet music in the  
correct key.  Equity actors will be auditioned using union  
procedures. Piano accompaniment will be provided for all. Wear attire  
appropriate for a dance/movement audition. All persons who audition  
must bring a resume, headshot and a biography with them.  Performance  
pay available.  Casting for the roles of:

MILLIE DILLMOUNT: (Early to mid 20's) Excellent singer (soprano &  
belt), a good dancer, and a superb comedienne.

MISS DOROTHY BROWN: (Early to mid 20's) Actress with a beautiful  
soprano voice, strong dancer, and offbeat comic sensibility.

JIMMY SMITH: (20's) Handsome singer (tenor) and dancer.

TREVOR GRAYDON: (Early 30's - early 40's) Great singer (baritone) and  
actor.

MRS. MEERS: (40's) Striking and sinister actress with great comedic  
skills who can sing.

MUZZY VAN HOSSMERE: (30's - 50's) Sensational, glamorous diva, singer.

CHING HO: (Late 20's - 30's) Comic actor.

BUN FOO: (Late 20's - 30's) Comic actor.

MISS FLANNERY:  (30’s to 40’s) Character female who sings and tap  
dances.

ENSEMBLE:  Male and Female singer/dancers.

Performance Riverside welcomes individuals of any age, race, color,  
national origin, religion, disability or orientation at all of its  
auditions. Performance Riverside is the resident, professional  
musical theatre company of the Riverside City College. Performances  
are June 6-15, 2008 at the Landis Performing Arts Center. For more
