You probably already got the notice that the new issue of Hot Metal
Bridge out of the U. of Pittsburgh is available online: http://
www.hotmetalbridge.org

What that announcement did NOT note is that one of the contributions
"written under my very Jewish pen name Sasha Maccabee" is "Reflecting
the X-Files" by our Stephanie Hammer.

It's a great read.

>> Press release:
>>
>> Hot Metal Bridge, the literary magazine of the University of
>> Pittsburgh,
>> is proud to announce its third issue, "American Light."
>>
>> In this edition we offer not only the lively mix of fiction,
>> nonfiction, and poetry seen in our previous issues, but we also
>> introduce criticism and visual art; we hope this range of genres will
>> extend the conversation between emerging and established voices that
>> is our editorial priority.
>> "American Light" features such writers as Tom Perrotta, Michelle
>> Wildgen, Stewart O'Nan, Dan Chaon, Beth Gylys, and Sasha Maccabee.
>> Our inaugural art page presents a range of work in multiple media by
>> Jules Buck Jones.
>> Unlike foods labeled "light," every variant of light blue, and
>> those
>> motion-sensing lights that catch you stashing a broken bicycle in the
>> neighbor's tree, "American Light" is full-flavored, colorful, and
>> will
>> never call the cops.
