Dear colleagues,

In addition to Brenda's great suggestion, and on a similar note, I've talked in brief 
with some of the English folks and they mentioned they are particularly interested 
in having Creative Writing people share projects they may have worked on in 
English or Comparative Lit. classes at UCR that are simultaneously creative and 
research based, such as research-based short stories, hypertexts, etc. So some of 
you may have work you've already done while in your English classes that you are 
wondering about what to "do with" since it doesn't neatly fit into any genre... here's 
a medium that might be a great one for presenting that work. 

The conference is not until spring, but please feel free to let any of us know if you 
have a project you might want to present at the conference.
