The Smell is located at
247 S. Main Street
Between 2nd and 3rd Street
The entrance is through the back, by way of the alley, west of Main Street.

The doors will open at 6:30 pm. Five dollars at the door.

For over 30 years, Douglas Messerli has been one of the foremost
publishers of innovative poetry and fiction in the United States,
first with Sun and Moon Press and more recently with Green Integer
Press.   His collections of poetry include River to Rivet, Maxims from
My Mother's Milk, The Walls Come True, After, Between, and many
others.  He is also a dramatist and fiction writer; several plays have
been produced under the pseudonym Kier Peters and an epistolary novel,
Letters from Hanusse, has been published under the pseudonym Joshua
Haigh.   His play Past Present and Future Tense was adapted into the
libretto of Michael Kowalski's 1996 opera Still In Love.

Deborah Meadows teaches in the Liberal Studies department at
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Her works of poetry
include: involutia (Shearsman Press, UK, 2007), The Draped Universe
(Belladonna Books, 2007), Thin Gloves (Green Integer, 2006),
Representing Absence (Green Integer, 2004), and Itinerant Men
(Krupskaya, 2004).

Rick Snyder is the author of three chapbooks of poetry, Blueprint (811
Books, 1999), Double Ear (811 Books, 1999) and Flown Season (Portable
Press, 2004).  In 2003, Situations published his translations of
Catullus' poems 1-30 as This Charming New Chapbook.  An e-chapbook,
Forecast Memorial, and an essay on recent translations of Paul Celan
appear at durationpress.com.
