Turner Classic Movies to Partner BSSC

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is the latest high profile media company to lend
support to the British Short Screenplay Competition.

TCM is a 24-hour cable, satellite and digital terrestrial channel that
launched in the US in 1990 and in the UK and Europe in 1999 as part of the
Time Warner group.

Currently TCM is the third highest rating UK movie channel. It draws on a
unique and extensive library of 20th century movies, selecting Hollywood's
finest quality films from the 'golden age' to contemporary classics. It is
available in almost 30 million households throughout Europe, Middle East and
Africa with six regional versions in ten different languages (English,
Danish, Dutch, French, Greek, Hebrew, Polish, Spanish, Swedish and
Norwegian).

TCM as broadcast partner of BSSC will air the films produced from the
winning scripts on TCM channels worldwide and promote the competition. TCM
will also announce the winners and runners-up on air at the TCM Classic
Shorts Awards Ceremony held during the prestigious The Times 51st London
Film Festival.

We are very excited about this development which will further raise the
profile of the winning writers and film makers to an international audience.
