Dear graduate student,

This is an invitation to you to join in the organizing of (dis)junctions,
the annual humanities graduate student conference. Although the conference
is known as the "humanities" conference, in the past few years,
(dis)junctions has been increasingly interdisciplinary, and students from
the social sciences have contributed research and support to the conference.
(dis)junctions' reputation continues to grow every year, with attendance
rates around 400 and students from around the country and also the world
giving papers. Helping with the conference would be a great way to add to
your vita. And even if you are not interested in serving on an
organizational committee, we welcome your papers and research.

Please look out in the next couple of weeks for an announcement of this
year's general conference theme. The conference is taking place on Friday
and Saturday, April 6th and 7th.

We will have our first general meeting on Wednesday, October 11th at 11am in
the English Department Library. Snacks and soda will be provided, so stop
by. If you want to be involved with (dis)junctions but can't attend, send
us an e-mail with your three committee preferences.

Below you will find the committee descriptions for the conference.

If you have any other questions about (dis)junctions, you can look at last
year's conference through the following link:

We want to thank everyone for their support and we will see you on
Wednesday!
