I just won a Defilippis/Roselli Prose Scholarship to the Napa Valley Writers' Conference in late July, where I will be studying with ZZ Packer.  Other folks there include CD Wright, Arthur Sze, Brenda Hilman, Ron Carlson, and Antonya Nelson.  

Mad props to Michael Jayme and the spring fiction workshop for helping me with "Sisters," my winning submission.
