Marianne Moore scholar, award-winning Cristanne Miller is author of Marianne
Moore: Questions of Authority; she co-edited of Moore’s Selected Letters and
recently the book of essays and poems Critics and Poets on Marianne Moore: A
Right Good Salvo of Barks.  She is also author of several books including,
Cultures of Modernism: Marianne Moore, Mina Loy, Else Lasker-Schüler. Gender
and Literary Community in New York and Berlin. University of Michigan Press,
2005. Miller writes extensively on Emily Dickinson, edits the Emily
Dickinson Journal, and has taught and written on American poetry for 26
years at Pomona College, where she is W. M. Keck Distinguished Service
Professor and Professor of English.  As of this fall, she eill be the Edward
H. Butler Chair and Chair of the English Department at SUNY Buffalo.
