To All:

Don't pass up the chance to meet with Lois Ann Yamanaka, one
of America's finest writers, who's here on the mainland from
her home of Hawaii to read from her newest novel.  Ms.
Yamanaka has published five novels, a short story collection,
and her work is unique in subject - she writes of the Hawaii
no one knows but those who were born there.  Her characters
struggle with countless handicaps, but always retain a sense
of humor, and her language is like none other.  She will be a
guest at an April 10 luncheon specifically to meet with you
and talk about publishing and writing, so please RSVP to
Amanda as soon as possible.  That evening, she'll be giving a
reading on campus.
