Recent publications by Charles Harper Webb, a rock singer turned
psychotherapist and Professor of English at CSU, Long Beach, include Hot
Popsicles (UW Press,) Tulip Farms and Leper Colonies (Boa Editions,) and
Stand Up Poetry: An Expanded Anthology (Iowa.) Earlier collections include
the Felix Pollack Prize-winning Liver (University of Wisconsin) and Reading
the Water (Northeastern University Press), which received the 1997 Morse
Poetry Prize and the 1998 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Mr. Webb is recipient
of a Whiting Writer's Award and a Guggenheim fellowship.

Winner and Finalists will be invited to participate
in an awards ceremony, reading and reception
at the dA Center for the Arts.
Contest Rules
. Deadline: April 30, 2006
. Entry fee $15.00 for up to six pages of unpublished poetry.
(multiple entries are permitted.)
. Poems which have been previously published or have received
monetary awards are not eligible.
. Manuscripts must be typed.
. Author's name, address, and phone number ( and email address, if
available) must appear on cover sheet only. This should include poem titles
in addition to contact information.
. Simultaneous submission is permissible, if we are notified when
work is accepted elsewhere or awards received.
. For announcement of winners, include a SASE (self addressed,
stamped envelope).
. Please, no email or fax submissions.
. Entries must adhere to guidelines. Manuscripts will not be
returned.
