[CSSD] Two Inland Empire events of interest

The attached notices provide information on two events which we think would be of interest to many of you. Both events are being held on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

 

The Public Policy Initiative at UCR is presenting Greg Stepanicich with the law firm of Richards, Watson & Gershon in San Francisco, who will be speaking on "The Role of Local Governments In Addressing Climate Change." The event will be held from 12:30 - 2 p.m., Humanities and Social Sciences Room 1500 on the UCR campus. Contact Anil Deolalikar at anil.deolalikar at ucr.edu for details.

 

The Inland Empire Chapter of the Urban Land Institute is presenting "The Coachella Valley: The Last Urban Frontier?" from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage. A registration form is included in this attachment.
