<p class="MsoNormal">On behalf of the UCR Library’s <a href="https://library.ucr.edu/research-support/creating-digital-projects/support-for-digital-scholarship" target="_blank">
Digital Scholarship Program</a>, I am excited to share that applications are open for the
<b>Summer 2023 Digital Scholarship Certificate Program</b>. Program information is attached as a flyer and included below. Tremendous thanks to everyone who provided feedback in Fall 2022 as we finalized the curriculum for this pilot library program!<u></u><u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">To summarize: this 6-week, non-credit-bearing program enables UCR undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience with archival and digital research. The program will be held from June-August 2023, concurrent with this year’s Summer
Sessions. Through workshops and lab sessions, participants will work 1:1 with librarians to learn and apply digital literacy and research skills, supported by a cohort of peers. Program modules include Encountering Archives, Imaging in the Archives, Quantitative
Text Analysis, Curating Digital Exhibits, and more.<u></u><u></u></p>
