[Crwt-undergrad-info] Publication Opportunity: Matchbox Magazine’s 21st Edition

Hey CRWT Highlanders,

We are sharing a publication opportunity for undergraduate students
through *Matchbox
Magazine*, an annual UC-wide literary and visual arts publication.

The magazine is currently accepting submissions for its 21st edition and
welcomes creative work across many disciplines. The magazine provides
undergraduate students across the University of California system with an
opportunity to showcase their creative work and gain publication experience
- even if you've never published anything before!

*They are now accepting publications for the following:*

   - Prose
   - Poetry
   - Visual art
   - Music
   - Spoken word


Last year, Matchbox received about 200 submissions and featured
undergraduate creativity in its 20th edition. For its upcoming 21st
edition, the editorial team hopes to feature a strong representation of UC
Riverside undergraduate students.

*Submission Information:*

   - *Eligibility:* Current UC undergraduate students
   - *Deadline:* January 3, 2027
   - *Submission methods:* via email to matchboxmagazine at gmail.com
   - *Publication distribution:* Each UC campus represented in the magazine
   will receive copies of the 21st edition to be circulated among its student
   body
