You are invited to a free poetry reading this Sunday, May 18th from 11
am- 1 pm!!! The incredible poets, Johnathan Macali and Roshell
Wickramasinghe will read as features at UCR Arts. Please meet at the
Olga Hammond Dance Studio. There will be an open mic following this
reading, so bring poems to share! There will also be optional time after
for workshopping and submitting poems.

Roshell Wickramasinghe: Roshell Wickramasinghe is a writer who writes
on the beauty of small things that can be easily overlooked. With her
words she tries to showcase God’s caring nature. With her powerful
voice she is able to touch the hearts of many.

Johnathan Macali: Macali likes to stir up emotions when he writes his
lyrical poetry. From internal musings to reflections of the world at
large, he attempts to paint a vivid rose tinted picture. He views God
as an author so he writes to imitate Him.
