In February 2025, Watkins Hall was the site of an anti-trans hate crime. On
Wednesday, April 9, from 11-2 we will gather here to recognize this event,
to reject the hate that it represented, and reclaim the space to honor
trans members of the UCR community. All are welcome to fill Watkins Hall
with art, not hate!
