The 52nd annual Student Academy Awards competition
is accepting submissions. The deadline for submitting a film for
consideration is Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 11:59pm PT.

What films are now eligible for the competition?


   - Undergraduate intermediate-level films (third-year projects)
   - Undergraduate capstone films
   - Graduate school intermediate-level films (second-year projects)
   - Graduate school thesis films
   - Associate degree final film projects
   - Certificate program final film projects


Students can submit these films for free directly to the competition via
FilmFreeway <https://filmfreeway.com/StudentAcademyAwards>.

This year’s Student Academy Awards ceremony will be held in New York City
for the first time. It will take place at the Ziegfeld Ballroom on October
6, 2025.

The competition rules and a link to the online submission portal are
available at www.oscars.org/saa <https://www.oscars.org/saa/apply>.
