Hello!

I serve as the faculty coordinator for the Philip Levine Prize for Poetry
at Fresno State and am reaching out to share that our prize deadline is
coming up soon: *September 30, 2024*.

The Philip Levine Prize for Poetry is an annual book contest sponsored by
the Creative Writing Program. The contest offers a $2,000 prize,
publication by Black Lawrence Press, 25 author copies of the published
book, and a public reading at Fresno State.

This year, we are proud to have Diana Khoi Nguyen serve as our final judge.

Our most recent winner was William Archila

by Douglas Kearney. Past judges have included Carmen Giménez, Cathy Park
