[Crwt-undergrad-info] Open Call for Papers: The Ebell Institute Symposium for the Study of Women's History in LA

Hello!
I am writing to share an exciting opportunity that may be of interest to you, your colleagues, and your students. The Ebell of Los Angeles is delighted to announce its inaugural annual symposium as part of our newest initiative, The Ebell Institute for the Study of Women's History in LA. This symposium aims to disseminate the untold histories of modern and historical women who have played pivotal roles in shaping Los Angeles.
The Ebell is actively seeking papers that discuss distinctly Los Angeles women's history for participation as panelists in the symposium. Selected participants will receive a $300 honorarium. Detailed submission instructions and guidelines are attached to this email. Please review them carefully before submitting.

  *   Date: Wednesday March 27, 2024
  *   Time: 10:00 am - 4:15 pm
  *   Location: The Ebell of Los Angeles, 741 South Lucerne Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90005
  *   Submission Deadline: February 23, 2024 (End of Day)

The symposium will be an opportunity to learn and contribute to the study of women's history, as well as network with similarly interested scholars and students. General (non-panelist) admission to the symposium is free and will include a complimentary boxed lunch. A link to register as an attendee will be shared closer to the event.
