Hi all--

Doug Pray will be discussing the art of documentary filmmaking and
screening his award-winning film, “Levitating Mass,” about the
extraordinary journey of the massive art-piece boulder from Riverside,
across the communities of the IE, and ending at the Los Angeles County
Museum of Art. There will be a Q&A after with Doug and myself.

Doug will also be teaching a series of documentary workshops in the next
few days, so if you’re interested but haven’t yet signed up, email Prof.

Among Doug’s credits are the Sundance award-winning film “Hype!” about the
Seattle grunge music scene, the HBO series “The Defiant Ones” about the
friendship and east-coast-west-coast rivalry of music titans Dr. Dre and
Jimmy Iovine, the recent doc about the musician, “Love, Lizzo,” and the new
