Dear Tom,
We're writing to you to ask your help in spreading the word to your
creative writing students and faculty at University of California, Irvine
regarding the Stockholm Writers Festival First 5 Pages Prize.

Our writers festival will take place in Stockholm, Sweden from August 18th
through the 20th, 2023. As part of the festival activities, we're running
the Stockholm Writers Festival First 5 Pages Prize.
Writers can submit the first five pages of their unpublished novel, book or
novella for a chance to win some unique prizes, and recognition.

There will be one Grand Prize Winner chosen from all entries. The prize
package includes:

    •    $1,000   Cash Prize
    •    A free ticket to SWF23 August 18-20, and related events
    •    Two nights in a downtown Stockholm boutique hotel
    •    A pitch meeting with a relevant agent
    •    Developmental editing of the complete manuscript courtesy of
Reedsy

We will also choose a 2nd and 3rd Prize Winner and two Honorable Mentions.
2nd and 3rd Prize Winners will receive a ticket to SWF23 as well as related
events, and a meeting with a relevant agent.

The 2023 SWF First 5 Pages Prize is now open for submissions and will close
for submissions on March 12, 2023.
